Role Overview
A high-growth fintech initiative in Riyadh is seeking a technically strong and design-focused Lead Frontend Software Engineer – Lending Applications, Customer Journeys & Interactive Design Systems to lead the development of customer-facing interfaces across digital lending platforms.
This role is centered on building seamless, intuitive, and conversion-optimized user journeys for loan applications, onboarding flows, and financial dashboards. You will translate complex financial processes into simple, user-friendly experiences that drive engagement and trust.
You will also play a leadership role in establishing frontend architecture, design systems, and best practices across the engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of frontend applications for digital lending platforms
- Build user interfaces for onboarding, loan applications, approvals, and account management
- Develop reusable components and scalable design systems
- Ensure high performance, accessibility, and responsiveness
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and services
- Collaborate with product and design teams to enhance user experience
- Optimize conversion rates through UX improvements and A/B testing
- Establish frontend architecture and coding standards
- Mentor frontend engineers and conduct code reviews
- Ensure compliance with Saudi financial regulations and UX standards
- Monitor and improve application performance and user engagement metrics
Required Candidate Profile
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 6+ years of experience in frontend development
- Strong expertise in React, Angular, or similar frameworks
- Experience with modern frontend tooling and build systems
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and design systems
- Experience with API integration and asynchronous programming
- Leadership experience in engineering teams
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation tools
- Knowledge of analytics and user behavior tracking
- Familiarity with fintech or lending platforms
- Exposure to performance optimization techniques
