A globally expanding fintech institution is seeking an exceptional Executive Director – Real-Time Payments Strategy to oversee the strategic design, implementation, and optimization of next-generation instant payment ecosystems supporting consumer banking, enterprise transactions, merchant acquiring, and cross-border financial services.
This executive leadership opportunity is designed for visionary professionals who can transform payment infrastructure into highly intelligent, scalable, and resilient financial networks that deliver seamless transaction experiences across regional and international markets.
Executive Responsibilities
- Define enterprise strategy for real-time payment ecosystems.
- Lead modernization of payment orchestration and settlement infrastructure.
- Drive innovation across instant payment services and financial connectivity.
- Collaborate with engineering, treasury, cybersecurity, and compliance teams.
- Build strategic alliances with banks, payment networks, and financial institutions.
- Develop operational resilience and transaction continuity frameworks.
- Evaluate emerging payment technologies and enterprise investment opportunities.
- Monitor executive payment performance metrics and service quality.
- Present strategic initiatives to executive leadership and Board committees.
- Mentor senior technology and payment operations leaders.
Executive Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- MBA or executive postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in fintech, payments, banking technology, or financial infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of payment architecture, digital banking, and enterprise strategy.
- Outstanding leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
