Role Summary
A progressive fintech environment in Riyadh is recruiting a Director of Payment Solutions & Financial Innovation to lead strategic growth across payment infrastructure, merchant acquiring, transaction ecosystems, and enterprise financial modernization programs.
This role requires a highly strategic fintech leader capable of transforming financial operations into intelligent, scalable, and commercially sustainable payment ecosystems. The successful candidate will oversee payment innovation, transaction optimization, merchant financial products, and customer financial experience across regional markets.

Core Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide strategy across payment solutions, acquiring services, and transaction optimization platforms
- Build scalable payment frameworks across merchant services, settlement operations, and digital transaction ecosystems
- Drive innovation across payment orchestration, reconciliation systems, and customer payment journeys
- Improve merchant onboarding, payment success rates, and financial service adoption across multiple business channels
- Collaborate with compliance, operations, technology, and finance teams to ensure sustainable product delivery
- Introduce automation opportunities across payment servicing, transaction monitoring, and customer support operations
- Strengthen API-based integrations and ecosystem partnerships across financial service providers
- Develop profitability models for payment products and revenue optimization strategies
- Ensure compliance with regional financial regulations and operational governance expectations
- Lead strategic reporting for executive leadership and financial performance visibility
- Support expansion planning across GCC markets and new transaction ecosystems
- Build leadership capability across product, payments, and service delivery teams
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Financial Technology, Business Administration, or related field
- Master’s degree highly preferred
- Minimum 9+ years of leadership experience in fintech payments, financial services, or banking transformation
- Strong expertise in payment systems, merchant acquiring, and transaction operations
- Understanding of Saudi financial regulations and digital transformation priorities
- Proven leadership across large-scale financial modernization programs
- Strong stakeholder engagement and executive communication capability
- Advanced commercial and operational leadership skills
