Job Overview
A fast-growing financial technology institution in Doha is seeking a highly capable Senior Manager – Fintech Compliance Strategy & Financial Controls to drive financial governance, compliance oversight, transaction monitoring, and operational control excellence across payment platforms, customer financial services, and digital banking environments.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented fintech professional who combines strong compliance intelligence with strategic operational leadership. The successful candidate will ensure financial discipline, regulatory readiness, and strong governance across fast-moving fintech ecosystems while supporting commercial growth and customer trust.
This is a high-visibility role offering strong executive exposure and direct influence on enterprise financial integrity.
Key Duties
- Lead compliance strategy across payments, customer onboarding, transaction monitoring, and financial operations
- Strengthen internal controls, financial reporting integrity, and governance standards across business units
- Support fraud prevention initiatives and financial crime monitoring across digital transaction ecosystems
- Improve reconciliation controls, operational audit readiness, and regulatory reporting processes
- Partner with finance, risk, compliance, and product teams for enterprise-wide governance alignment
- Evaluate compliance risks associated with new fintech products and customer financial services
- Build executive dashboards for governance reporting and strategic compliance visibility
- Strengthen customer trust frameworks through strong operational transparency and financial accountability
- Support regulatory inspections and external audit processes across financial operations
- Improve policy implementation and control effectiveness across payment platforms
- Build leadership capability across compliance operations and governance teams
- Support long-term financial resilience through continuous control improvement strategies
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Law, or related discipline
- Professional certification in compliance, audit, finance, or risk management preferred
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in fintech compliance, financial controls, or banking operations
- Strong understanding of payment systems, transaction monitoring, and financial governance frameworks
- Experience across financial reporting, audit readiness, and operational control design
- Strong knowledge of Qatar financial regulations and compliance expectations
- Excellent analytical leadership and stakeholder management capability
- Ability to translate governance strategy into operational execution
