Role Overview
A rapidly expanding fintech ecosystem in Dubai is seeking a high-performing Senior Fintech Sales Representative – Digital Payments, Merchant Acquisition & Revenue Growth to drive merchant onboarding, transaction volume growth, and revenue expansion across digital payment solutions.
This role is positioned at the frontline of fintech commercialization—where financial technology meets real-world business adoption. You will be responsible for engaging merchants, SMEs, and enterprise clients to adopt modern payment solutions including digital wallets, payment gateways, and integrated financial services.
The role requires a commercially driven professional who understands both sales execution and the underlying financial value of payment ecosystems. Every merchant you onboard directly contributes to the expansion of a fast-scaling digital economy.
Core Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and onboard new merchants across retail, hospitality, e-commerce, and service industries
- Promote and sell fintech payment solutions including POS systems, digital wallets, and online payment gateways
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for merchant acquisition and transaction volume growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, decision-makers, and enterprise clients
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain financial solutions in a clear and compelling manner
- Negotiate commercial terms, onboarding agreements, and service packages
- Collaborate with onboarding and operations teams to ensure smooth merchant activation
- Monitor merchant performance, transaction activity, and revenue contribution
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing merchant portfolios
- Provide market feedback to product and strategy teams to improve offerings
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and sales practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in fintech, banking, or financial services
- Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Understanding of payment systems or merchant services is an advantage
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and performance-focused mindset
Preferred Skills
- Experience in field sales or B2B sales environments
- Familiarity with POS systems, payment gateways, or digital wallets
- Knowledge of SME business operations and merchant ecosystems
- Exposure to GCC sales markets
