Role Overview
A rapidly expanding financial technology platform in Dubai is seeking a highly analytical and commercially astute Senior Financial Analyst – Digital Payments, Revenue Intelligence & Strategic Finance to drive financial performance across a complex, high-volume payments ecosystem.
This role is positioned at the convergence of finance, data, and strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for dissecting transactional data, interpreting financial trends, and delivering insights that directly influence pricing strategies, revenue optimization, cost efficiency, and long-term financial planning.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping how the organization monetizes its payment infrastructure, manages operational costs, and scales profitably across multiple financial products and markets.
Core Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale financial and transaction datasets to identify revenue drivers, cost inefficiencies, and growth opportunities
- Develop financial models to support pricing strategies, merchant fee structures, and cross-border payment economics
- Monitor key performance indicators including transaction volumes, revenue streams, cost margins, and profitability metrics
- Provide detailed financial forecasts, budgeting, and variance analysis to support strategic planning
- Collaborate with product and operations teams to align financial insights with business initiatives
- Evaluate performance of financial products including payments, wallets, and merchant services
- Support decision-making through data-driven insights and scenario analysis
- Prepare executive reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership
- Ensure financial data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with UAE regulatory requirements
- Participate in financial planning cycles, investment evaluations, and strategic initiatives
- Identify opportunities for automation and optimization within financial reporting processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within fintech or financial services
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis
- Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling tools, and data analytics platforms
- Experience working with large datasets and transaction-based financial systems
- Strong understanding of payment systems and fintech business models
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SQL, Python, or data visualization tools
- Knowledge of revenue optimization strategies in fintech
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting and compliance frameworks
- Exposure to cross-border payment economics and multi-currency systems
