The successful candidate will play a strategic role in enhancing digital banking operations while ensuring seamless service delivery across retail and corporate banking platforms. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to oversee complex operational frameworks within a highly regulated financial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end digital banking operational activities across multiple financial products and services.
- Develop operational strategies that improve efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise payment processing, transaction monitoring, settlements, reconciliations, and treasury support operations.
- Collaborate with technology teams to optimize banking platforms and automate operational workflows.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, AML, KYC, fraud prevention, and internal governance policies.
- Monitor operational risks and establish proactive mitigation frameworks.
- Oversee customer onboarding, digital account opening, payment verification, and transaction lifecycle management.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives using automation and AI-enabled technologies.
- Produce executive-level operational reports, KPIs, and business intelligence dashboards.
- Lead operational resilience planning and business continuity strategies.
- Coordinate with compliance, audit, finance, cybersecurity, and risk management teams.
- Mentor operational teams and promote a culture of innovation and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- Master’s degree or MBA is highly desirable.
- Minimum 7+ years of banking or fintech operational leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of digital banking ecosystems.
- Experience with payment gateways, core banking systems, and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of operational risk management frameworks.
- Familiarity with digital transformation methodologies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
