Executive Position Overview

An elite fintech transformation programme is seeking an accomplished Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Customer Operations, Digital Banking Growth & Enterprise Transformation to lead enterprise-wide operational strategy with a strong focus on customer excellence, digital banking expansion, intelligent automation, AI-powered service delivery, and organizational transformation.

The successful executive will ensure that every operational function—from customer onboarding and payment execution to digital banking support, product delivery, technology operations, compliance coordination, and enterprise services—operates with exceptional efficiency, scalability, resilience, and innovation.

This highly strategic role requires a leader who combines operational discipline with technological vision, commercial insight, and people-focused leadership to build an agile fintech organization capable of responding rapidly to changing customer expectations and emerging financial technologies.

Enterprise Transformation

  • Drive organization-wide digital transformation.

  • Lead intelligent process automation initiatives.

  • Expand AI-enabled operational capabilities.

  • Strengthen cloud-native operational infrastructure.

  • Support enterprise innovation programmes.

Financial Operations

  • Oversee payment operations.

  • Optimize operational controls and governance.

  • Improve enterprise reporting and performance management.

  • Strengthen business continuity planning.

  • Ensure operational readiness for organizational growth.

Executive Leadership

  • Advise the Board and Executive Committee.

  • Develop enterprise operating strategies.

  • Mentor senior operational leaders.

  • Foster a culture of accountability and innovation.

  • Build strategic partnerships supporting long-term growth.


Executive Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or Doctorate in Business Administration, Financial Technology, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

  • Minimum 20 years of executive leadership experience in fintech, banking, or enterprise operations.

  • Proven expertise leading digital transformation and operational modernization.

  • Strong commercial, analytical, and organizational leadership skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to build high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
