Strategic Role Overview
A sophisticated fintech institution in Doha is seeking a highly experienced Principal UI/UX Designer – Financial Platforms, Data Visualization & Customer Journey Innovation to lead the design of advanced financial interfaces that combine usability, data intelligence, and visual clarity.
This role is focused on transforming complex financial data and processes into elegant, intuitive, and actionable user experiences. You will design interfaces for analytics dashboards, risk monitoring systems, payment platforms, and customer financial applications.
The position requires a designer who can bridge creativity and technical understanding—delivering experiences that are both visually compelling and functionally powerful.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead UX/UI design for financial platforms, analytics dashboards, and customer applications
- Design data-rich interfaces that present complex financial information clearly and effectively
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile platforms
- Conduct user research and usability testing to refine design solutions
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data teams to ensure seamless integration
- Develop and maintain design systems and visual guidelines
- Optimize user journeys based on data insights and performance metrics
- Ensure accessibility, security, and compliance with financial regulations
- Mentor design teams and contribute to design strategy
- Explore innovative design approaches to enhance user engagement
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in fintech or data-driven platforms
- Strong portfolio showcasing complex design projects and data visualization
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
- Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and visual design
- Experience with responsive and mobile-first design
- Familiarity with financial systems and analytics platforms preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Experience with advanced data visualization tools and techniques
- Knowledge of motion design and interactive elements
- Exposure to AI-driven personalization and adaptive interfaces
