Strategic Role Overview
A sophisticated fintech institution in Doha is recruiting a highly experienced Principal Financial Analyst – Financial Planning, Data Intelligence & Corporate Strategy to lead advanced financial planning and analytical initiatives across enterprise fintech operations.
This role is focused on transforming financial data into strategic insight—supporting executive decision-making, long-term planning, and performance optimization across multiple business units and financial products.
You will work at the highest level of financial analysis, combining data intelligence, forecasting, and strategic thinking to guide the organization’s growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) across multiple fintech products and business units
- Develop complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning
- Analyze financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
- Support corporate strategy through data-driven financial insights and scenario analysis
- Build advanced reporting systems and dashboards for executive leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with business objectives
- Ensure compliance with Qatar financial regulations and reporting standards
- Conduct investment analysis and evaluate strategic initiatives
- Optimize financial processes and reporting efficiency
- Mentor finance teams and contribute to organizational financial strategy
- Provide insights into capital allocation, cost optimization, and revenue growth
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline
- 8+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic analysis
- Proficiency in Excel and financial planning tools
- Experience working with large datasets and financial systems
- Strong understanding of fintech business models and financial operations
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
Preferred Expertise
- Professional certifications such as CFA, ACCA, or CPA
- Experience with data visualization and analytics tools
- Knowledge of investment analysis and corporate strategy
- Exposure to fintech platforms and digital financial systems
