To design a fintech operating system (FinOS)—a foundational platform upon which multiple financial services can be built, including:
- Payments
- Lending
- Wealth management
- Insurance
System Components
1. Kernel Layer
- Core financial logic and transaction processing
- Account management and ledger systems
- Security and authentication mechanisms
2. Service Layer
- Modular financial services (payments, lending, investments)
- API-driven architecture for extensibility
- Integration with external financial systems
3. Application Layer
- User-facing applications and interfaces
- Developer tools and SDKs
- Partner ecosystem integrations
4. Data & Intelligence Layer
- Data processing and analytics systems
- AI-driven insights and decision-making
- Real-time monitoring and reporting
Responsibilities
- Define architecture of the fintech operating system
- Ensure scalability, performance, and security
- Lead development and integration efforts
- Align system design with business and regulatory requirements
Technical Requirements
- Expertise in distributed systems and platform engineering
- Strong knowledge of financial systems and fintech platforms
- Experience with cloud-native architectures and APIs
- Ability to design large-scale, modular systems

- 12–18 years in software architecture or fintech platform design
- Proven experience building complex, scalable systems
