Role Overview
A rapidly expanding fintech platform in Riyadh is seeking a highly strategic Lead Business Development Manager – Digital Lending, Merchant Finance & Growth Strategy to accelerate the adoption of financial products across SMEs, merchants, and enterprise clients.
This role is focused on driving revenue growth through innovative lending partnerships, embedded finance solutions, and merchant financing programs that empower businesses with accessible capital and flexible financial services.
You will operate at the intersection of sales, strategy, and product—translating market opportunities into scalable financial solutions that directly impact revenue growth and customer expansion.
Core Responsibilities
- Drive business development strategy for digital lending and merchant financing products
- Acquire and manage strategic partnerships with SMEs, enterprises, and marketplace platforms
- Develop and execute growth strategies to expand lending portfolio and merchant adoption
- Identify new revenue opportunities through embedded finance and credit solutions
- Collaborate with product teams to tailor financial offerings for market needs
- Structure commercial agreements including lending partnerships and financing models
- Conduct market research to identify underserved segments and growth opportunities
- Monitor portfolio performance, partner activity, and revenue contribution
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in the financial ecosystem
- Support pricing strategy development for lending and financing products
- Ensure compliance with Saudi financial regulations and lending frameworks
Required Candidate Profile
- Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in business development or fintech sales
- Strong understanding of lending systems, credit products, or financial services
- Proven track record in revenue generation and partnership development
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret financial and market data
- Experience in fast-growing fintech or financial services environments
- Knowledge of Saudi fintech ecosystem preferred
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SME financing or merchant lending platforms
- Familiarity with credit risk and financial product structuring
- Exposure to embedded finance ecosystems
