Position Summary

A highly innovative fintech environment in Dubai is hiring a Fintech Software Developer to build intelligent financial platforms supporting digital lending, customer onboarding, repayment systems, compliance automation, financial reporting, and API-driven banking services.

This role is ideal for a technically strong developer who can transform complex lending operations into seamless digital workflows. You will help create backend systems that automate underwriting support, repayment scheduling, collections management, treasury workflows, and compliance-driven financial monitoring.

The position requires strong ownership, technical discipline, and a developer mindset focused on scalability, auditability, and secure financial operations.

You will work closely with product teams, credit analysts, risk managers, compliance officers, and engineering leaders to deliver platforms that improve financial access and operational efficiency.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop backend services supporting lending workflows, repayments, financial automation, and payment orchestration
• Build secure APIs for onboarding, KYC verification, transaction monitoring, and banking integrations
• Create rule engines for eligibility assessment, repayment scheduling, collections tracking, and workflow automation
• Support treasury operations through settlement workflows, refund management, and reconciliation systems
• Integrate external services such as payment processors, identity verification providers, and credit intelligence platforms
• Improve system performance, observability, and platform resilience across mission-critical financial services
• Support fraud prevention tools and suspicious transaction monitoring systems
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on deployment pipelines, monitoring systems, and infrastructure optimization
• Maintain audit trails and reporting frameworks for compliance visibility and executive oversight
• Participate in code governance, architecture discussions, and continuous system improvements
• Assist in reducing operational friction across financial decision-making workflows

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 4+ years of software development experience within fintech, digital banking, lending technology, or financial operations
• Strong expertise in Python, Java, or equivalent backend development technologies
• Experience with Django, Spring Boot, FastAPI, or similar enterprise frameworks
• Strong understanding of APIs, workflow systems, asynchronous processing, and backend architecture
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, message queues, and cloud deployment environments
• Strong knowledge of secure application development and customer financial data protection
• Excellent problem-solving ability and operational mindset
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
• Familiarity with digital lending systems is highly desirable
