An internationally recognized fintech banking institution is seeking an accomplished Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen its Security Engineering Division and safeguard enterprise-scale digital banking ecosystems that operate across multiple jurisdictions.
This role is designed for professionals who thrive in high-pressure environments where innovation, precision, and resilience are essential. You will engineer advanced security controls, strengthen cloud-native financial platforms, protect sensitive customer information, and ensure operational continuity against evolving cyber threats.
Working alongside Cloud Architects, Software Developers, DevSecOps Engineers, Security Operations Analysts, Enterprise Architects, Risk Specialists, Compliance Officers, Data Engineers, AI Specialists, and Executive Technology Leadership, you will play a critical role in protecting one of the Gulf region’s most advanced fintech environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise cybersecurity architectures.
- Secure digital banking applications throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Monitor and respond to sophisticated cyber threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing coordination.
- Implement identity and access management solutions.
- Strengthen API security and cloud security controls.
- Develop automated security monitoring and incident response workflows.
- Perform security risk assessments for new banking technologies.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Produce security documentation, standards, and technical guidance.
- Support regulatory audits and compliance initiatives.
- Mentor junior security professionals and promote cyber awareness across engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree is advantageous.
- Minimum 7–10 years of cybersecurity experience within fintech, banking, financial services, or enterprise technology.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, secure software engineering, and enterprise network security.
- Excellent analytical and incident response capabilities.
