A globally respected fintech banking institution is seeking an accomplished Cybersecurity Consultant to advise executive leadership on enterprise security strategy, cloud governance, regulatory compliance, digital risk management, and secure technology transformation.
Unlike traditional operational security positions, this role focuses on influencing strategic decisions that shape the organization’s long-term cybersecurity posture. You will assess emerging technologies, evaluate enterprise risks, recommend security architectures, and ensure that digital innovation is delivered with resilience, trust, and regulatory alignment.
You will work alongside executive stakeholders, enterprise architects, cloud engineers, legal and compliance teams, internal audit, risk management, software engineering, and product leadership to embed security into every aspect of the technology ecosystem.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Conduct enterprise cybersecurity risk assessments.
- Develop cloud security governance frameworks.
- Design security policies, standards, and architectural principles.
- Advise project teams on secure technology implementation.
- Assess third-party technology risks.
- Support regulatory compliance and internal audit activities.
- Develop cybersecurity roadmaps and strategic improvement plans.
- Evaluate emerging cybersecurity technologies.
- Facilitate executive workshops on cyber resilience.
- Produce governance reports and security recommendations.
- Promote security awareness across business and technology teams.
- Mentor security professionals and contribute to organizational capability development.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or Business Administration is highly desirable.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in cybersecurity consulting, governance, enterprise risk, or information security leadership.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security, enterprise architecture, governance frameworks, and financial sector security requirements.
