Role Overview
The Blockchain Payments Integration Specialist will serve as a critical link between distributed ledger technologies and traditional financial systems, ensuring seamless interoperability across payment ecosystems. This role emphasizes practical implementation—bridging blockchain-based payment rails with existing banking and fintech infrastructures.
You will be responsible for enabling secure, scalable, and efficient blockchain payment solutions that align with enterprise-grade financial operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and implement integrations between blockchain networks and payment gateways
- Facilitate interoperability between digital wallets, banking APIs, and distributed ledger systems
- Oversee transaction flows involving tokenized assets and stable-value digital instruments
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize blockchain transaction speed, cost, and reliability
- Monitor and troubleshoot blockchain-based payment issues, including latency and failed transactions
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulatory frameworks governing digital payments and virtual assets
- Develop documentation and technical guidelines for blockchain payment integrations
- Support testing, deployment, and scaling of blockchain-enabled financial services
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field
- 4–7 years of experience in fintech, payments engineering, or blockchain integration
- Strong understanding of payment systems and transaction lifecycles
- Experience working with APIs, SDKs, and microservices architecture
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Ethereum, stablecoins, and Layer-2 scaling solutions
- Knowledge of cryptographic principles and secure key management
- Experience with cloud-based fintech infrastructure
