A prestigious international fintech banking institution is seeking an accomplished Executive – Digital Banking Strategy & Transformation to lead enterprise-wide initiatives that redefine the future of banking through innovation, technology, operational excellence, and customer-centric financial solutions. This senior leadership position is designed for an experienced banking executive with an exceptional track record in digital transformation, banking operations, product innovation, strategic planning, and financial technology.
As digital banking continues to evolve through artificial intelligence, intelligent automation, open banking, API ecosystems, embedded finance, real-time payment infrastructures, cloud-native platforms, advanced analytics, and personalized financial services, this role will serve as a critical catalyst for enterprise transformation. The successful candidate will develop and execute strategic initiatives that improve operational efficiency, strengthen customer engagement, accelerate digital adoption, and enhance long-term business growth.
Working closely with executive leadership, technology architects, product directors, risk managers, compliance specialists, cybersecurity professionals, treasury leaders, data scientists, operations executives, and customer experience teams, you will shape the future direction of one of the region’s most innovative fintech banking ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop long-term digital banking transformation strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Lead enterprise modernization programmes across retail, commercial, SME, corporate, and institutional banking.
- Drive innovation across digital channels, mobile banking, internet banking, payment ecosystems, and customer engagement platforms.
- Oversee strategic initiatives involving AI-powered banking services, intelligent automation, cloud transformation, API banking, and digital customer onboarding.
- Establish enterprise governance frameworks supporting technology transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with technology and product teams to prioritize innovation investments.
- Monitor strategic KPIs, digital adoption metrics, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction indicators.
- Present executive reports and strategic recommendations to senior leadership committees.
- Evaluate emerging fintech technologies and recommend business transformation opportunities.
- Strengthen collaboration between technology, operations, finance, compliance, legal, and business divisions.
- Lead organizational change management programmes supporting digital transformation.
- Mentor senior managers and contribute to executive leadership development initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- MBA or Master’s degree in Finance, Strategy, Financial Technology, or Digital Transformation is highly preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience within fintech, banking, or financial services.
- Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide banking transformation programmes.
- Strong commercial awareness and executive decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
