About the Role
A globally focused fintech banking institution is seeking an exceptional Lead Data & AI Architecture Director – Intelligent Banking Solutions to architect enterprise-scale data and artificial intelligence platforms that enable the next generation of digital banking experiences.
This highly strategic position combines enterprise data architecture, AI platform engineering, machine learning infrastructure, data governance, cloud technologies, analytics engineering, and banking innovation. The successful candidate will lead architecture initiatives supporting intelligent customer engagement, fraud analytics, predictive risk management, financial insights, automated lending, personalized banking experiences, and real-time operational intelligence.
Working alongside executive leadership, data scientists, machine learning engineers, cybersecurity specialists, software architects, product executives, compliance professionals, and enterprise technology teams, you will define the organization’s future-state architecture for data-driven financial innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Define enterprise data and AI architecture strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Design scalable cloud-native data platforms supporting digital banking operations.
- Architect enterprise data lakes, data warehouses, streaming platforms, and AI infrastructures.
- Develop governance frameworks for enterprise data quality, metadata, lineage, and lifecycle management.
- Design AI integration architectures supporting intelligent financial products.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement scalable machine learning deployment frameworks.
- Ensure secure management of customer financial data and enterprise analytics platforms.
- Lead architecture governance, design reviews, and enterprise technology standards.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies, intelligent automation platforms, and advanced analytics solutions.
- Prepare executive architecture documentation and technology strategy presentations.
- Mentor data architects, AI engineers, and analytics leaders.
- Support long-term enterprise modernization and innovation programmes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Analytics is highly desirable.
- Minimum 10 years of enterprise technology experience, including extensive expertise in data architecture, AI platforms, and cloud engineering within fintech, banking, or financial services.
- Demonstrated success delivering enterprise-scale data transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding of banking analytics, AI governance, and cloud-native architectures.
