An internationally expanding fintech financial institution is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Cryptocurrency Operations Manager – Digital Asset Banking to oversee enterprise-scale cryptocurrency operations supporting institutional and retail digital asset services. This strategic leadership role is designed for an experienced professional with extensive expertise in digital asset operations, blockchain infrastructure, cryptocurrency custody operations, token lifecycle management, digital payment ecosystems, operational governance, financial technology innovation, and enterprise risk management.
As the global digital asset ecosystem continues to mature, the organization is investing significantly in next-generation cryptocurrency infrastructure designed to deliver secure, scalable, and technology-driven financial services. The successful candidate will lead operational excellence initiatives across cryptocurrency transaction management, digital asset custody operations, wallet administration, settlement processes, blockchain transaction reconciliation, liquidity coordination, and platform optimization.
Working alongside blockchain engineers, cybersecurity specialists, compliance professionals, enterprise architects, product managers, treasury specialists, software engineers, cloud infrastructure teams, data analysts, and executive leadership, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of institutional digital asset operations while ensuring operational resilience, customer confidence, and technology excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise cryptocurrency operations supporting institutional and retail digital asset services.
- Oversee cryptocurrency transaction processing, blockchain confirmations, settlement coordination, and operational reconciliation.
- Manage digital asset custody operations, wallet administration, and transaction lifecycle governance.
- Develop operational procedures supporting cryptocurrency platforms and blockchain-based financial services.
- Collaborate with blockchain engineering teams to optimize operational workflows and platform scalability.
- Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to strengthen operational security controls and digital asset protection.
- Monitor operational performance through enterprise dashboards and key performance indicators.
- Support business continuity planning and operational resilience initiatives.
- Drive process automation and operational efficiency across cryptocurrency service delivery.
- Prepare executive operational reports, governance documentation, and strategic recommendations.
- Mentor operations professionals while promoting operational excellence across the organization.
- Evaluate emerging blockchain technologies and operational innovations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Financial Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree is highly desirable.
- Minimum 8 years of operations experience, including significant exposure to cryptocurrency, blockchain, fintech, digital assets, or financial technology environments.
- Strong understanding of blockchain transaction workflows and digital asset operations.
