A highly experienced Senior Trading Backend Platform Engineer is required to build and optimize API-driven trading infrastructure supporting equities, FX, commodities, and digital asset execution systems.

This remote engineering role focuses on platform scalability, API orchestration, and cross-market trading system design.

Primary Responsibilities

1. API Trading Platform Engineering

• Design and build API-driven trading infrastructure for order placement, execution, and portfolio management.
• Ensure secure, scalable, and low-latency API communication across trading systems.
• Improve developer experience for internal and external trading integrations.

2. Multi-Asset Execution Systems

• Support backend infrastructure for equities, FX, derivatives, and digital asset trading.
• Ensure consistent execution logic across multiple asset classes.
• Optimize cross-market trading performance and system efficiency.

3. Platform Scalability & Infrastructure Design

• Build scalable backend architecture supporting high-volume trading environments.
• Improve system reliability under peak trading loads.
• Implement distributed systems design principles for global accessibility.

4. Integration & Ecosystem Connectivity

• Integrate trading platforms with exchanges, liquidity providers, and financial data services.
• Maintain stable and secure connectivity across financial ecosystems.
• Ensure seamless interoperability across trading infrastructure components.
