A highly experienced Senior Fintech Technology Architect is required to define and govern the architecture of next-generation digital banking platforms and cloud-based financial systems.

This fully remote role operates at a strategic level, shaping enterprise fintech infrastructure, system scalability, and long-term digital transformation frameworks.

Core Mission

To design and govern fintech architecture that ensures:

• Scalable cloud-native banking systems
• Secure and resilient financial infrastructure
• High-performance payment processing platforms
• Seamless API-driven financial ecosystems
• Long-term modernization of legacy banking systems

Primary Responsibilities

1. Enterprise Fintech Architecture Design

• Define end-to-end architecture for digital banking platforms, payment systems, and financial service applications.
• Establish cloud-native design principles for scalability, resilience, and performance.
• Modernize legacy financial systems into modular fintech architectures.

2. Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineering Oversight

• Guide implementation of cloud platforms supporting banking, payments, and financial data systems.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and system resilience across fintech infrastructure.
• Optimize system performance across distributed financial environments.

3. API Ecosystem & System Integration Strategy

• Design API-first architectures for fintech platforms and financial services.
• Enable secure integration between banks, payment providers, and fintech applications.
• Improve interoperability across digital financial ecosystems.

4. Governance, Security & Compliance Architecture

• Define architectural standards for data security, encryption, and financial system integrity.
• Ensure compliance alignment with regional financial regulations.
• Strengthen risk-aware system design across all fintech platforms.

Required Expertise

• Enterprise architecture in fintech or banking
• Cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• API architecture and microservices design
• Financial systems infrastructure
• Distributed systems and scalability engineering

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 10–15+ years in fintech architecture or enterprise technology roles
• Strong experience designing banking or payment platforms
• Deep understanding of cloud-native financial systems
• Strategic and technical leadership capability
