As fintech platforms scale, system reliability, uptime, and performance engineering become critical to maintaining trust and operational continuity.
A highly experienced Senior Fintech Systems Reliability Engineer (SRE) is required to ensure stability, observability, and resilience across financial platforms and high-traffic fintech systems.
This fully remote role focuses on platform reliability, incident prevention, and performance optimization across mission-critical systems.
Core Mission
To ensure fintech platforms operate with:
- Maximum system uptime and reliability
- Strong observability and monitoring frameworks
- Fast incident detection and recovery systems
- High-performance financial APIs and services
- Resilient infrastructure for mission-critical operations
Primary Responsibilities
1. Platform Reliability Engineering
- Design and maintain reliability frameworks for fintech platforms, payment systems, and trading infrastructure.
- Ensure high availability and fault tolerance across distributed financial systems.
- Reduce system downtime and improve operational continuity.
2. Monitoring, Observability & Incident Response
- Implement monitoring tools for system health, performance metrics, and financial transaction flows.
- Build alerting systems for early detection of failures or anomalies.
- Lead incident response strategies and post-mortem analysis.
3. Performance Optimization & Scalability
- Optimize backend systems for high-volume financial workloads.
- Improve API response times and system throughput.
- Enhance infrastructure scalability under peak financial usage.
4. Infrastructure Automation & DevOps Collaboration
- Automate deployment pipelines, system recovery processes, and infrastructure provisioning.
- Collaborate with DevOps, backend engineers, and platform teams.
- Improve CI/CD reliability for fintech applications.
Required Expertise
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
- Fintech platform infrastructure
- DevOps and cloud systems engineering

- High-availability distributed systems
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 6–10+ years in SRE, DevOps, or fintech infrastructure roles
- Strong experience with high-availability systems
- Deep understanding of cloud and distributed architectures
- Strong incident management and reliability engineering skills
