A Senior Fintech Data Engineer is required to build and maintain data infrastructure that powers financial analytics, reporting, and transaction intelligence systems.

Core Mission

To design data systems that ensure:

• Real-time financial data processing and availability
• Accurate transaction analytics and reporting
• Scalable data infrastructure for fintech applications

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Data Pipeline Engineering

• Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for processing financial transaction data.
• Design real-time and batch data processing systems.
• Ensure data consistency across multiple financial sources.

2. Transaction Data Architecture

• Structure datasets for payments, transfers, and user financial activity.
• Optimize storage and retrieval of large-scale financial data.
• Ensure data integrity across distributed systems.

3. Analytics & Reporting Systems

• Develop datasets and pipelines for financial dashboards and reporting tools.
• Enable real-time monitoring of transaction flows and system performance.
• Support business intelligence and risk analysis teams.

4. System Optimization & Scalability

• Improve data processing performance and reduce latency.
• Implement distributed data storage strategies.
• Ensure systems scale with increasing transaction volumes.

Technology Stack

• Languages: Python, SQL, Scala
• Data Tools: Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow
• Databases: PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Cassandra
• Cloud: AWS / GCP
• BI Tools: Tableau, Power BI

Candidate Profile

• 5–9+ years in data engineering or fintech analytics
• Strong experience with large-scale data pipelines
• Familiarity with financial or transactional datasets
• Understanding of real-time data systems
