Role Specification Document: Senior Payments Operations & Reconciliation Manager
Location: Remote (Aligned with United Arab Emirates)

Position Objective
To ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of payment operations, with a primary focus on reconciliation processes, transaction monitoring, and settlement management across multi-channel payment systems.
Functional Scope
Payments Operations Management
- Oversee daily processing of high-volume transactions across multiple payment rails
- Monitor system performance and resolve transaction failures
- Ensure seamless execution of authorization, clearing, and settlement processes
Reconciliation & Financial Control
- Design and manage automated reconciliation frameworks
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between internal systems and external partners
- Ensure financial accuracy across ledgers and transaction records
Process Optimization
- Identify inefficiencies in payment workflows and implement improvements
- Introduce automation to reduce manual intervention
- Enhance operational scalability and reliability
Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with banks, payment processors, and financial partners
- Coordinate with internal teams (finance, engineering, compliance)
- Manage vendor relationships and service-level agreements
Risk & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal control frameworks
- Monitor transactions for potential fraud or anomalies
- Support audit processes and regulatory reporting
Required Experience
- 6–10+ years in payments operations, reconciliation, or financial services operations
- Strong understanding of payment systems and transaction lifecycles
- Experience with reconciliation tools and financial control systems
