In the rapidly evolving digital economy of the UAE, where cashless ecosystems are accelerating at scale, a highly analytical and forward-thinking Digital Payments Optimization Lead is required to architect, refine, and elevate payment infrastructures across multi-channel financial ecosystems.
This role is not operational—it is strategic, data-intensive, and transformation-driven, sitting at the intersection of payment engineering, behavioral analytics, and revenue optimization.
Core Mandate
You will be entrusted with redefining transaction efficiency, reducing payment friction, and enhancing conversion rates across digital platforms. The role requires a blend of technical acumen, commercial foresight, and system-level thinking.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect intelligent routing systems for payment gateways to maximize authorization rates
- Lead optimization initiatives across card payments, wallets, BNPL systems, and cross-border remittances
- Conduct deep-dive analysis into transaction failures, latency issues, and fraud patterns
- Design A/B testing frameworks for checkout experiences and payment flows
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement scalable payment enhancements
- Develop predictive models to forecast transaction success and customer behavior
Technical Expectations
- Strong familiarity with payment ecosystems (Visa/Mastercard rails, tokenization, PCI-DSS compliance)
- Experience working with APIs, payment gateways, and microservices architecture
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar analytical tools
- Understanding of fraud detection systems and risk scoring models
