Position Overview
A progressive organization is looking for an experienced Regulatory Compliance Specialist to strengthen its compliance framework by monitoring regulatory obligations, conducting compliance assessments, and supporting enterprise-wide governance initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and implement regulatory requirements across business operations.
- Conduct compliance monitoring, testing, and risk assessments.
- Prepare regulatory reports and compliance documentation.
- Support internal and external regulatory audits.
- Review organizational policies to ensure regulatory alignment.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes affecting the business.
- Coordinate corrective action plans for identified compliance gaps.
- Provide compliance guidance to operational departments.
- Support enterprise governance and policy management initiatives.
- Maintain compliance registers and reporting dashboards.
- Participate in compliance training and awareness programs.
- Recommend improvements to compliance processes and controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Experience in regulatory compliance, governance, audit, or risk.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with compliance software and reporting tools.
- Relevant compliance certifications are desirable.
