This role is suited to professionals who excel at interpreting financial regulations, advising business stakeholders, and ensuring organizational compliance with evolving regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will play a strategic role in strengthening governance frameworks, supporting regulatory engagements, and enhancing compliance practices across multiple business functions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret banking regulations and provide regulatory guidance to business units.
  • Review new products and business initiatives for compliance implications.
  • Develop and maintain compliance policies and governance documentation.
  • Conduct compliance risk assessments and monitoring activities.
  • Coordinate responses to regulatory inspections and inquiries.
  • Prepare regulatory reports and executive briefings.
  • Monitor changes in financial legislation and industry standards.
  • Support enterprise governance and control improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with legal, risk, audit, and operations teams.
  • Deliver compliance awareness training across the organization.
  • Review operational procedures for regulatory alignment.
  • Support policy implementation and compliance testing.
  • Maintain regulatory documentation and reporting records.
  • Recommend improvements to governance and compliance processes.
  • Foster a strong culture of regulatory accountability.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Law, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in regulatory compliance, governance, or banking operations.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
  • Strong report preparation and presentation abilities.
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.
