Position Overview

An exceptional opportunity is available for an experienced Compliance Manager to lead regulatory compliance initiatives within a dynamic banking environment. This role is ideal for a strategic professional with a strong understanding of financial regulations, governance standards, and enterprise compliance frameworks. The successful candidate will play a vital role in protecting organizational integrity by ensuring business operations remain aligned with regulatory expectations and industry best practices.

Working closely with executive leadership, legal, internal audit, risk management, and operational teams, the Compliance Manager will drive a culture of ethical conduct, regulatory excellence, and continuous compliance improvement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of enterprise compliance programmes.
  • Develop and update compliance policies, standards, and internal procedures.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on business operations.
  • Conduct enterprise-wide compliance risk assessments.
  • Oversee compliance monitoring and control testing activities.
  • Coordinate regulatory examinations and internal compliance reviews.
  • Investigate compliance breaches and oversee corrective action plans.
  • Prepare executive compliance reports and governance dashboards.
  • Advise senior management on regulatory obligations and emerging risks.
  • Deliver compliance awareness programmes and staff training.
  • Maintain regulatory documentation and compliance registers.
  • Collaborate with legal, audit, technology, and operational teams.
  • Strengthen internal control environments across business units.
  • Support enterprise governance initiatives.
  • Promote ethical business conduct and regulatory accountability.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in compliance, governance, audit, or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and investigative abilities.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and professional judgment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
