Position Overview

An outstanding opportunity is available for an experienced Governance & Compliance Consultant to advise on regulatory compliance, governance frameworks, and enterprise risk management within a rapidly evolving financial technology environment. This role is designed for professionals who possess strong regulatory expertise and can provide strategic guidance that strengthens governance structures and supports sustainable business growth.

The successful candidate will partner with executive leadership, business units, legal advisors, and technology teams to ensure organizational compliance while driving governance excellence across enterprise operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Advise business units on regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Develop governance frameworks, compliance policies, and operational standards.
  • Conduct enterprise compliance assessments and gap analyses.
  • Review business processes to ensure regulatory alignment.
  • Support strategic governance and transformation initiatives.
  • Prepare executive compliance reports and regulatory updates.
  • Coordinate responses to regulatory inspections and audits.
  • Monitor changes in financial legislation and industry standards.
  • Evaluate internal control effectiveness across departments.
  • Deliver compliance training and governance workshops.
  • Collaborate with legal, audit, and risk management teams.
  • Recommend improvements to enterprise compliance programmes.
  • Maintain governance documentation and compliance registers.
  • Support organizational policy reviews and updates.
  • Promote a culture of integrity, transparency, and accountability.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in governance, compliance, regulatory affairs, or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations and governance principles.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience working with executive stakeholders.
  • High ethical standards and professional judgment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
