The Strategic Opportunity
A next-generation digital finance platform is hiring a highly strategic Lead Fintech Platform Engineer – Embedded Finance & Lending Technology to lead the development of scalable lending platforms, embedded finance ecosystems, and intelligent financial products across consumer, SME, and merchant finance channels.
This role requires a technically strong engineer capable of building the infrastructure that powers customer onboarding, digital underwriting, BNPL ecosystems, merchant lending solutions, repayment systems, and AI-driven credit decisioning.
The successful engineer will play a central role in transforming how people and businesses access capital—faster, smarter, and with less friction than traditional banking models.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead engineering strategy across digital lending platforms, embedded finance systems, and next-generation credit delivery products
• Build scalable architecture supporting loan origination, underwriting workflows, repayment systems, and financial servicing operations
• Design secure APIs for partner integrations, embedded checkout finance, and merchant funding ecosystems
• Collaborate with product teams, credit risk specialists, compliance leaders, and operations stakeholders to deliver production-ready financial solutions
• Improve system performance, security, and operational reliability across customer-facing lending applications
• Strengthen data flow integrity, lending workflow visibility, and compliance-driven engineering practices
• Support innovation involving AI underwriting, alternative data scoring, and automated credit decision systems
• Lead technical architecture reviews and engineering best practices across development teams
• Mentor engineers and contribute to strong platform engineering leadership across the organization
• Drive long-term modernization strategies across lending technology and embedded finance architecture
Ideal Candidate Profile
• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent technical qualification
• 6–10+ years of engineering experience across fintech, digital banking, lending platforms, or financial products
• Strong expertise in platform engineering, APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-native application development
• Experience building financial systems involving lending, underwriting, payments, or embedded finance
• Strong knowledge of security controls, compliance requirements, and modern engineering standards
• Excellent leadership capabilities and strategic problem-solving skills
