Role Overview
A rapidly expanding fintech initiative in Riyadh is seeking a strategic and impact-focused Lead ESG & Sustainable Finance Analyst – Responsible Investment, Regulatory Strategy & Green Product Innovation to lead ESG integration across its financial ecosystem.
This role focuses on embedding responsible investment principles into fintech platforms, ensuring that sustainability considerations are integrated into financial decision-making, product development, and regulatory compliance.
You will operate at both strategic and operational levels—designing ESG frameworks, guiding investment strategies, and ensuring alignment with regional and global sustainability standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead ESG strategy and sustainable finance initiatives
- Develop and implement ESG frameworks for fintech products
- Analyze investment portfolios for sustainability risks and opportunities
- Ensure compliance with Saudi ESG regulations and international standards
- Design and support green financial products and services
- Conduct ESG due diligence and impact assessments
- Collaborate with product, risk, and compliance teams
- Monitor regulatory developments and adapt strategies accordingly
- Develop ESG reporting frameworks and KPIs
- Mentor teams and promote sustainability best practices
- Provide insights to leadership on ESG trends and opportunities
- Drive innovation in sustainable financial solutions
Required Candidate Profile
- Degree in Finance, Environmental Studies, or related discipline
- 6+ years of experience in ESG, sustainable finance, or investment analysis
- Strong understanding of ESG frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Experience with financial modeling and sustainability analysis
- Strong leadership and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience with impact investing and green finance
- Knowledge of ESG data platforms and analytics tools
- Familiarity with fintech ecosystems
- Exposure to regulatory compliance frameworks
