Role Overview
A rapidly scaling fintech ecosystem is expanding its merchant and payments infrastructure across multiple digital commerce environments. The organization is building an integrated financial network where merchants, platforms, and consumers interact through seamless embedded financial services.
To accelerate this expansion, the organization is seeking a Head of Fintech Growth Engineering—a hybrid leadership role combining product strategy, technical understanding, and commercial execution.
This role focuses on scaling financial products through ecosystem integration, ensuring that payments, lending, and financial services become naturally embedded within digital commerce experiences rather than standalone systems.
Core Responsibilities
Ecosystem Growth Strategy
- Define and execute growth strategy for fintech payment and merchant ecosystems.
- Identify high-value sectors for embedded finance adoption.
- Drive expansion of digital payment acceptance networks.
- Develop scalable monetization strategies for financial products.
Merchant & Platform Integration
- Establish integrations with enterprise platforms and digital marketplaces.
- Design scalable onboarding frameworks for merchants and partners.
- Optimize payment flows across multi-channel commerce environments.
- Enable seamless embedded financial services across ecosystems.
Product-Growth Alignment
- Align product capabilities with commercial growth objectives.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance system scalability.
- Translate market needs into technical and product requirements.
- Support lifecycle optimization of payment products.
Market Intelligence & Expansion
- Analyze fintech adoption trends across regional and global markets.
- Identify new revenue streams within embedded finance ecosystems.
- Support strategic expansion into new financial verticals.
- Provide insights for executive decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or Technology.
- 8+ years of experience in fintech, payments, or ecosystem growth.
- Strong understanding of embedded finance models.
- Experience in platform or merchant ecosystem expansion.
- Strong analytical and commercial strategy skills.
