Position Overview
As financial institutions increasingly migrate toward cloud-native environments, a forward-thinking fintech enterprise is seeking a visionary Head of Financial Cloud Engineering & Platform Operations to oversee mission-critical infrastructure supporting secure, scalable, and resilient financial platforms.
This leadership role offers the opportunity to direct cloud transformation, automate operational excellence, and enhance enterprise platform reliability while supporting high-volume digital financial services across regional markets.
Primary Responsibilities
Cloud Transformation
- Lead enterprise cloud migration initiatives.
- Design highly available financial infrastructure.
- Develop cloud governance frameworks.
- Improve platform scalability and resilience.
Platform Operations
- Direct enterprise platform engineering teams.
- Optimize infrastructure performance.
- Implement intelligent automation across operations.
- Strengthen disaster recovery capabilities.
Technology Leadership
- Establish engineering standards.
- Drive Infrastructure-as-Code adoption.
- Oversee DevSecOps implementation.
- Mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Security & Compliance
- Enhance cybersecurity architecture.
- Support regulatory technology initiatives.
- Conduct enterprise risk assessments.
- Ensure infrastructure compliance standards.
Professional Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cloud Engineering, Information Technology, or Software Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of cloud engineering experience.
- Expertise with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Linux, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise monitoring solutions.
