A high-growth fintech organization is seeking an innovative Principal Cloud Platform Engineer to architect, automate, and optimize mission-critical cloud infrastructure supporting high-volume digital financial transactions.
This role is ideal for technology professionals passionate about building resilient, secure, and scalable platforms capable of supporting millions of users across multiple international markets.
Core Responsibilities
- Design enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure for financial services.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks.
- Build highly available containerized environments using Kubernetes.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for secure software delivery.
- Optimize cloud performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Strengthen cloud security and identity management.
- Improve observability, monitoring, and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Mentor engineering teams on cloud architecture best practices.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, software engineering, and operations teams.
- Drive continuous infrastructure innovation.
Required Expertise
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Minimum 8 years of cloud engineering experience.
- Advanced knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
- Strong scripting ability using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Understanding of enterprise networking and cloud security principles.
- Experience supporting highly regulated financial environments.
