A rare and highly strategic opportunity exists for an elite fintech infrastructure leader to design and govern the next generation of peer-to-peer (P2P) payment ecosystems at global scale. This role is built for a visionary executive capable of transforming how money moves between individuals, businesses, and digital platforms through instant, borderless, and intelligent financial networks.
The Global Head of P2P Payments Infrastructure, Real-Time Settlement & Digital Money Transfer Ecosystems will be responsible for architecting ultra-fast, secure, and resilient payment rails enabling real-time value transfer across mobile wallets, banking systems, and embedded financial applications.
This position operates at the core of financial connectivity—where speed, trust, scalability, and intelligence converge to eliminate friction from global money movement.
Core Strategic Responsibilities
P2P Infrastructure Architecture
- Design and oversee next-generation peer-to-peer payment networks supporting instant transfers across domestic and cross-border corridors.
- Build highly scalable transaction processing systems capable of handling millions of concurrent micro-payments.
- Develop distributed payment architectures ensuring low latency, high availability, and fault-tolerant financial operations.
Real-Time Settlement Systems
- Architect instant settlement frameworks reducing dependency on legacy clearing systems.
- Implement real-time reconciliation engines for seamless fund movement between digital wallets, banks, and fintech platforms.
- Optimize liquidity flows across multi-currency P2P ecosystems.
Digital Wallet & Transfer Ecosystem Development
- Lead development of interoperable digital wallet infrastructures supporting instant P2P transfers.
- Enable QR-based payments, contact-based transfers, and intelligent payment routing systems.
- Design user-centric payment experiences powered by frictionless authentication and behavioral intelligence.
Security, Trust & Compliance Engineering
- Implement end-to-end encryption frameworks for all peer-to-peer transactions.
- Build fraud detection systems using AI-based behavioral pattern recognition.
- Ensure compliance with global financial regulations and anti-money laundering frameworks.
Required Expertise Profile
- Master’s degree in Financial Technology, Computer Science, Distributed Systems, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- 12–20 years of experience in payments infrastructure, fintech architecture, digital wallets, or real-time transaction systems.
- Deep knowledge of payment networks, API ecosystems, cloud-native systems, and high-throughput backend engineering.
- Strong understanding of mobile payments, wallet systems, and cross-border financial infrastructure.
