Role Overview
This role focuses on building consumer-facing financial applications that power digital payments, wallet systems, and transaction experiences. You will be responsible for delivering fast, secure, and highly responsive interfaces used by thousands of users in real-time financial interactions.
Primary Responsibilities
Application Development
- Develop responsive web applications for payment processing, transfers, and wallet management.
- Build reusable UI components aligned with design system standards.
- Ensure seamless integration with backend payment APIs.
User Interface Engineering
- Implement intuitive flows for onboarding, payments, and transaction tracking.
- Optimize UI for mobile-first experiences and cross-browser compatibility.
- Ensure accessibility compliance and user-centric design principles.
Performance Optimization
- Minimize load times and improve runtime performance of frontend applications.
- Implement efficient state management and API handling strategies.
- Monitor frontend performance metrics and resolve bottlenecks.
Security & Compliance
- Implement secure frontend practices to protect sensitive financial data.
- Integrate authentication flows (JWT, OAuth2).
- Ensure compliance with financial data handling standards.
Technical Requirements
- Languages: JavaScript, TypeScript
- Frameworks: React, Vue.js
- State Management: Vuex, Redux
- Build Tools: Webpack, Vite
- Testing: Jest, Mocha
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 4–7+ years of frontend development experience
- Experience building production-grade web applications
- Familiarity with fintech or payment systems is an advantage
