Fintech Program Manager – Cross-Border Remittances & Settlement Operations

Program Context
Cross-border payments remain one of the most complex and fragmented areas in financial services. This role focuses on driving large-scale transformation programs aimed at optimizing remittance flows, reducing settlement friction, and improving transaction transparency.
The Fintech Program Manager will oversee multi-phase initiatives involving technology upgrades, partner integrations, and operational enhancements.
Program Scope
- Modernization of cross-border payment infrastructure
- Integration with global remittance networks and local payout partners
- Implementation of real-time tracking and settlement visibility tools
- Optimization of FX conversion processes and cost structures
Core Responsibilities
Program Planning & Execution
- Define program roadmaps with clear milestones, deliverables, and dependencies
- Manage cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, compliance, and external partners
- Ensure timely delivery of program phases within scope and budget
Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the central point of coordination between internal teams and external financial institutions
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations
- Facilitate alignment between technical and business stakeholders
Operational Transformation
- Identify inefficiencies in existing remittance workflows
- Implement automation and process improvements
- Enhance transaction traceability and reconciliation accuracy
Risk & Compliance Oversight
- Ensure adherence to AML/KYC requirements across jurisdictions
- Manage regulatory reporting obligations
- Identify and mitigate operational and financial risks
Required Experience
- 7–12+ years in program management within fintech, payments, or banking
- Strong understanding of cross-border payments, FX, and remittance ecosystems
- Experience managing large-scale transformation or migration programs
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies
