Position Overview
The FP&A Associate plays a critical role in supporting financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis within fintech operations. This role focuses on translating financial data into strategic insights that guide business decisions.
Core Responsibilities
Financial Planning
- Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
- Support scenario analysis for different business strategies.
Performance Analysis
- Analyze financial performance against budgets and targets.
- Identify trends, variances, and key drivers of performance.
Data-Driven Insights
- Provide actionable recommendations based on financial analysis.
- Support leadership with insights for decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with operations and product teams to align financial planning with business activities.
- Ensure financial considerations are integrated into strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or fintech finance roles.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities
- Familiarity with financial reporting tools
- Understanding of fintech revenue models
