Role Purpose
The Financial Data & Reporting Manager is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and strategic use of financial data within a fintech environment. This role focuses on reporting, analytics, and performance tracking to support decision-making.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Data Accuracy Rate: Maintain ≥ 99% accuracy in financial reports
- Reporting Timeliness: Ensure all reports are delivered within defined deadlines
- Error Resolution Time: Resolve discrepancies within established timeframes
- Dashboard Utilization: Increase stakeholder usage of reporting dashboards
- Process Efficiency: Reduce manual reporting processes through automation
Primary Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
- Prepare and deliver financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data
Data Management & Analysis
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and insights
- Maintain data integrity across systems
Process Improvement
- Automate reporting processes to enhance efficiency
- Implement tools for real-time data monitoring
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and product teams
- Provide insights to support strategic decision-making
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to financial reporting standards
- Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5–8 years of experience in financial reporting or fintech analytics
- Strong understanding of financial data systems
- Experience with reporting and analytics tools
