Role Overview
This role is responsible for managing the service delivery lifecycle of digital remittance operations, ensuring that cross-border money transfers are executed efficiently, settled accurately, and delivered with high reliability. The position integrates operational execution with financial control and stakeholder coordination.
Service Delivery Framework
Service Initiation & Transaction Intake
- Oversee incoming remittance requests across digital channels
- Validate sender and beneficiary information
- Ensure compliance with transaction requirements
Processing & Execution Layer
- Manage routing of remittance transactions through appropriate payment rails
- Monitor transaction progress and resolve delays
- Coordinate with correspondent partners and payment processors
Settlement & Liquidity Management
- Ensure timely settlement of remittance transactions
- Monitor liquidity positions across accounts
- Coordinate fund allocations to support transaction flows
Exception & Dispute Management
- Investigate failed or delayed remittances
- Resolve disputes with partners and customers
- Maintain escalation frameworks for critical issues
Reporting & Compliance Layer
- Maintain accurate records of remittance transactions
- Prepare operational and regulatory reports
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls
Required Qualifications
- 6–10 years of experience in remittances, payments, or fintech operations
- Strong understanding of cross-border payment systems
- Experience with reconciliation and settlement processes
- Ability to manage complex operations remotely
