Primary Objective
To establish a dynamic regulatory intelligence function that ensures fintech operations remain compliant, adaptive, and forward-looking in a changing legal environment.
Core Functional Domains
1. Regulatory Monitoring & Analysis
- Track updates in financial regulations within Kuwait and the GCC
- Interpret regulatory changes and assess their impact on fintech operations
2. Compliance Framework Development
- Design and implement compliance policies and procedures
- Integrate regulatory requirements into operational workflows
3. Risk & Governance Oversight
- Identify compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Ensure internal controls align with regulatory expectations
4. Stakeholder Advisory
- Provide guidance to product, engineering, and operations teams
- Act as a bridge between regulatory requirements and business execution
Required Expertise
- Strong experience in financial compliance, regulatory affairs, or fintech governance
- Deep understanding of AML, KYC, and financial regulatory frameworks
- Ability to translate complex regulations into practical business processes
