Position: Remote Fintech API-Based Payment Orchestration & Routing Specialist

Role Overview
This role focuses on managing payment orchestration systems, ensuring that transactions are intelligently routed through the most efficient and reliable payment channels using API-driven architectures.
System Interaction Layers
Layer 1: API Integration & Connectivity
- Manage integrations with payment gateways and financial APIs
- Ensure seamless communication between systems
- Troubleshoot connectivity and integration issues
Layer 2: Transaction Routing Logic
- Design and optimize routing rules for transactions
- Ensure optimal selection of payment channels
- Improve transaction success rates and reduce costs
Layer 3: System Monitoring & Performance
- Monitor transaction flows and system performance
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies
- Implement improvements to enhance reliability
Layer 4: Partner Coordination
- Work with payment providers and financial partners
- Ensure alignment of system requirements and capabilities
- Manage onboarding of new payment channels
Layer 5: Compliance & Security
- Ensure secure handling of financial data
- Maintain compliance with payment regulations
- Support audits and system reviews
Required Qualifications
- 4–8 years of experience in fintech engineering, payments, or API systems
- Strong understanding of payment orchestration and routing
- Experience with APIs and system integrations
- Ability to manage technical operations remotely
