Role Overview
A growing fintech-driven environment is seeking a Financial Data & Reporting Analyst to support the aggregation, validation, and interpretation of financial datasets across digital platforms. This role focuses on transforming raw transactional data into actionable insights that support operational efficiency, compliance reporting, and strategic decision-making.
The position is ideal for candidates who possess strong analytical capabilities, familiarity with financial systems, and the ability to communicate complex data findings in a structured and understandable format.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Data Management & Integrity
- Collect, clean, and validate financial data from multiple fintech systems including payment platforms and digital wallets
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across reporting cycles
- Maintain structured datasets for audit and compliance purposes
2. Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial performance reports
- Analyze revenue streams, transaction volumes, and customer usage patterns
- Identify anomalies or irregularities in financial data and escalate accordingly
3. Business Intelligence Support
- Develop dashboards and visualizations using BI tools
- Support decision-making processes through data-driven insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define reporting requirements
4. Regulatory & Compliance Reporting
- Assist in preparing reports aligned with Oman’s financial regulatory standards
- Support audit processes by providing accurate and timely documentation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related discipline
- 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or fintech data roles
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Understanding of financial statements and digital transaction flows
