Role Overview

An innovative fintech institution is investing significantly in the future of payment modernization and is appointing an Executive Director – Next-Generation Payments & Settlement Infrastructure.

This strategic leader will oversee the design, optimization, and governance of modern payment ecosystems, ensuring high availability, operational resilience, interoperability, and exceptional transaction performance for enterprise and institutional clients.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise payment modernization programmes.
  • Develop scalable payment orchestration frameworks.
  • Optimize domestic and international settlement processes.
  • Strengthen payment resilience and operational continuity.
  • Drive innovation in instant payment capabilities.
  • Build strategic relationships with banking and financial partners.
  • Oversee payment analytics and operational intelligence.
  • Lead payment product commercialization initiatives.
  • Enhance transaction monitoring and performance reporting.
  • Coordinate enterprise technology transformation projects.
  • Mentor senior payment specialists and programme managers.
  • Deliver strategic presentations to executive leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • 12+ years of leadership experience in payments, banking technology, fintech, or financial infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise payment ecosystems and transaction processing.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
