A rapidly growing financial technology institution driving next-generation digital finance transformation across the GCC is seeking a highly accomplished Executive Blockchain Solutions Architect – Digital Payments & Institutional Finance to lead the design, development, and enterprise deployment of blockchain-powered financial systems supporting institutional payments, treasury modernization, tokenized financial services, and secure transaction infrastructure.

This role is designed for a highly strategic blockchain engineer who understands that distributed ledger architecture is no longer an experimental concept—it is becoming a foundational layer for payment settlements, treasury efficiency, programmable finance, asset digitization, and trusted institutional financial operations.

The successful professional will architect and oversee blockchain ecosystems supporting digital payment rails, stable-value transaction networks, secure smart contract infrastructure, treasury-linked automation, tokenized settlement frameworks, and high-performance enterprise ledger integrations.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead blockchain architecture strategy across payment networks, treasury settlements, tokenized financial operations, and institutional transaction systems

• Design and deploy enterprise-grade smart contract frameworks for automated settlements, financial workflow governance, and programmable payment execution

• Build secure blockchain integrations between financial platforms, banking infrastructure, treasury systems, and enterprise reporting environments

• Strengthen wallet architecture, digital asset custody security, key management controls, and transaction authorization frameworks

• Collaborate with compliance, treasury, cybersecurity, legal, and platform engineering teams to ensure secure regulatory-aligned delivery

• Improve operational resilience across blockchain nodes, network observability, system monitoring, and distributed transaction reliability

• Support architecture involving Ethereum-compatible networks, private ledger systems, Layer-2 frameworks, and enterprise settlement infrastructure

• Ensure audit-ready reporting across on-chain and off-chain transaction visibility, treasury accountability, and financial governance standards

• Lead technical architecture reviews, blockchain modernization initiatives, and long-term distributed finance strategy planning

• Mentor engineering teams and establish enterprise blockchain governance and security standards

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Financial Technology, or equivalent technical discipline

• 7–10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 4+ years focused on blockchain architecture within fintech, banking, or digital finance

• Strong expertise in Solidity, Rust, Go, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and enterprise blockchain systems

• Experience building smart contracts, blockchain APIs, distributed ledger infrastructure, and financial transaction platforms

• Strong understanding of EVM ecosystems, Layer-2 networks, private chains, wallet infrastructure, and institutional digital asset security

• Familiarity with treasury operations, financial compliance frameworks, and enterprise-grade security architecture

• Strong strategic leadership and high-level technical decision-making capability
