A high-growth financial services institution is searching for a highly specialized Executive Blockchain Platform Engineer – Treasury Modernization & Institutional Settlement Systems to lead the transformation of treasury operations, institutional settlement frameworks, and cross-border transaction infrastructure powered by distributed ledger technology.

This position sits at the center of treasury strategy, liquidity management, enterprise payments, and financial systems modernization. The successful engineer will design blockchain-enabled platforms that improve settlement speed, reduce reconciliation friction, strengthen liquidity visibility, and create transparent multi-market financial operations.

This role requires a platform engineer who understands that blockchain must deliver measurable institutional value—faster settlements, stronger compliance visibility, operational resilience, and long-term financial efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design and optimize blockchain platform architecture supporting treasury settlements, institutional liquidity workflows, and multi-party financial transaction systems

• Build scalable backend systems connecting distributed ledger infrastructure with banking systems, ERP platforms, treasury dashboards, and enterprise reporting environments

• Improve reliability across payment settlements, financial reconciliation, liquidity controls, and audit-ready reporting visibility

• Collaborate with CFO operations, treasury teams, compliance leaders, cybersecurity specialists, and enterprise platform engineers

• Develop secure integrations across blockchain networks, banking APIs, treasury infrastructure, and settlement frameworks

• Strengthen resilience engineering, disaster recovery planning, observability systems, and platform security across institutional financial operations

• Support modernization involving tokenized treasury settlements, programmable liquidity systems, and enterprise digital asset operations

• Ensure engineering delivery aligns with Qatar regulatory requirements, audit readiness, and institutional financial governance standards

• Lead technical architecture strategy for blockchain-enabled treasury modernization and enterprise financial infrastructure growth

• Provide senior mentorship and strategic leadership across blockchain and platform engineering teams

Required Expertise

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Financial Technology, or related discipline

• 8–12+ years of engineering experience across fintech infrastructure, blockchain platforms, banking systems, or treasury technology

• Strong expertise in Go, Rust, Java, Python, distributed systems, and enterprise architecture design

• Experience with treasury systems, institutional settlements, cross-border payments, and blockchain-powered financial reporting platforms

• Strong understanding of compliance-driven engineering and audit-ready infrastructure development

• Excellent executive communication skills and high-level architectural decision-making ability
