Embedded finance is redefining how financial services are delivered—integrating payments, lending, insurance, and financial tools directly into non-financial platforms. This role focuses on designing the architectural backbone of embedded finance ecosystems, ensuring seamless integration, scalability, and regulatory alignment.
Core Architecture Pillars
1. Integration Framework Design
- Develop scalable frameworks for embedding financial services into third-party platforms
- Design API-first architectures to support seamless service integration
- Ensure compatibility with diverse ecosystems including e-commerce, mobility, and digital platforms
2. Financial Service Layer Engineering
- Architect modular financial services such as payments, credit, and wallet systems
- Enable plug-and-play financial functionalities across multiple platforms
- Ensure high availability and fault-tolerant system design
3. Compliance & Risk Alignment
- Integrate compliance controls directly into system architecture
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations across embedded services
- Collaborate with risk teams to embed fraud detection and monitoring mechanisms
4. Scalability & Performance Optimization
- Design systems capable of handling high transaction volumes
- Optimize latency and processing efficiency across distributed environments
- Implement cloud-native architectures for scalability
Technical Environment
- API-first ecosystems and microservices architecture
- Cloud platforms and distributed computing systems
- Payment gateways, digital wallets, and fintech integration layers
Candidate Profile
- 6–11 years of experience in fintech architecture or systems design
- Strong background in embedded finance or API-based financial systems
- Ability to translate complex financial requirements into scalable technical solutions
