This role sits at the center of that transformation.
Your Core Mandate
Define and implement a tokenized financial ecosystem that integrates:
1. Tokenized Asset Infrastructure
- Real estate, fixed income, and alternative assets represented on-chain
- Fractional ownership frameworks
- Secondary market liquidity mechanisms
2. Programmable Money Systems
- Smart contract-enabled payments (conditional disbursements, escrow logic)
- Tokenized deposits and settlement instruments
- Integration with traditional banking rails
3. Institutional DeFi Integration
- Bridging traditional finance with decentralized liquidity protocols
- Designing risk-managed access layers for institutional participants
4. Custody & Governance
- Digital asset custody architecture (multi-party computation, cold/hot wallet systems)
- Governance models for asset issuance and lifecycle management
Architectural Considerations
- Public vs private blockchain trade-offs
- Interoperability across chains and financial systems
- Security models (cryptography, key management, attack resistance)
- Compliance overlays for regulated environments
Regulatory Engagement
- Work alongside Bahrain’s progressive fintech regulatory ecosystem
- Help define legal frameworks for tokenized assets and digital ownership
- Ensure alignment with global financial stability standards
Candidate Profile
- 12–20 years across fintech, capital markets, or blockchain infrastructure
- Deep expertise in tokenization, smart contracts, and financial engineering
- Experience engaging with regulators or financial authorities
Compensation
- $300,000 – $600,000 annually
- Long-term incentives tied to ecosystem growth and asset adoption
