Role Title: Remote Director of Fintech Ecosystem Expansion

Within Saudi Arabia’s rapidly diversifying financial landscape, fintech is no longer a vertical—it is an ecosystem spanning payments, lending, digital identity, and financial infrastructure. This role has been conceptualized at a board-strategic level to drive ecosystem expansion, market penetration, and cross-sector integration.
The Director of Fintech Ecosystem Expansion will operate as a strategic orchestrator, identifying growth vectors, forging alliances, and enabling the seamless integration of financial services into broader economic sectors.
Strategic Mandate
- Expand fintech adoption across non-traditional sectors (retail, logistics, healthcare, mobility)
- Identify and activate high-impact partnership opportunities within the GCC and beyond
- Drive ecosystem-level innovation by aligning stakeholders across finance, technology, and commerce
- Position fintech capabilities as core enablers of economic digitization
Primary Responsibilities
- Map the fintech ecosystem and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and expansion opportunities
- Design and implement ecosystem growth strategies across multiple industries
- Establish strategic alliances with technology providers, financial institutions, and digital platforms
- Oversee the integration of financial services into partner ecosystems
- Monitor macro trends in fintech, regulation, and digital transformation
- Present strategic insights and growth frameworks to senior stakeholders
Competency Framework
- Deep understanding of fintech verticals (payments, lending, wealth, infrastructure)
- Strong strategic thinking and ecosystem-level analysis capabilities
- Experience in partnerships, corporate strategy, or fintech expansion roles
- Ability to operate across technical, commercial, and regulatory domains
Professional Profile
- 8–15 years of experience in fintech, consulting, or financial services strategy
- Demonstrated ability to scale platforms or ecosystems
- Strong leadership presence with cross-border experience
