An internationally renowned fintech banking institution is seeking a visionary Director – Growth Strategy & Digital Banking Expansion to lead high-impact initiatives that accelerate customer acquisition, revenue growth, digital product adoption, strategic partnerships, and market expansion across the Gulf region and international financial markets.
This executive leadership role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who combines deep fintech expertise with exceptional strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and an entrepreneurial mindset. As the organization continues to invest in AI-powered banking, embedded finance, open banking ecosystems, digital payments, wealth technology, SME banking solutions, and next-generation customer experiences, you will play a pivotal role in shaping sustainable growth strategies that strengthen competitive positioning and long-term profitability.
Working alongside Executive Leadership, Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Data Analytics, Customer Experience, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Business Development teams, you will design and execute enterprise growth programmes that deliver measurable commercial success while maintaining operational excellence and customer trust.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute enterprise-wide growth strategies aligned with long-term business objectives.
- Lead customer acquisition initiatives across retail, SME, corporate, and institutional banking segments.
- Drive digital banking adoption through innovative customer engagement strategies.
- Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and strategic expansion initiatives.
- Develop commercial growth frameworks for digital payments, lending, savings, wealth solutions, and embedded finance products.
- Collaborate with Product teams to optimize product-market fit and accelerate product adoption.
- Build strategic partnerships with fintech ecosystem participants, technology providers, and financial institutions.
- Analyze customer behavior, revenue performance, market trends, and competitive intelligence.
- Establish executive growth dashboards, KPIs, and commercial performance frameworks.
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and governance committees.
- Lead cross-functional transformation programmes supporting business scalability.
- Mentor commercial leaders while promoting a culture of innovation and continuous growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Financial Technology, or a related discipline.
- MBA or Master’s degree in Strategy, Finance, Business Analytics, or Digital Transformation is highly desirable.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience within fintech, banking, digital financial services, consulting, or high-growth technology organizations.
- Proven success developing enterprise growth strategies and commercial expansion initiatives.
- Strong financial, analytical, leadership, and communication capabilities.
